I suppose it is only right that I have the first say in this matter of a blog. Somebody has to bell the cat......
I shall talk of new beginning and things that we chance upon quite accidently. It is only later on reflection and recollection that we ponder about the what would have beens if not for that one conversation, one person or one opportunity.
As I sat with my fingers poised , ready to type out a string of words about this little project of ours , about its birth and our passionate responce to a chance of being a part of 'Ink Link' , I was reminded of these lines from Great Expectations which we had read.
" Pause you who read this, and think for a moment of the long chain of iron or gold, of thorns or flowers , that would never have bound you , but for the formation of the first link on one memorable day"
Isn't this the case with us? If that particular conversation had not happened. If that level of enthusiasm would not have come through, you and I would not be linked in this manner.
Here's to an adventure , both satisfying and nurturing...
Of things great to come , I have an inkling.....

The most important thing, always, is to Start! Once that is achieved- a little motivation, perseverance and a whole lot of enthusiasm will do the rest in helping us achieve what we desire! :-)
ReplyDeleteIve found the concept of a group blog rather interesting coz we're a bunch of like minded people yet are individuals in our own ways, each with their own sense of opinion, style of writing, and special interests. Its a great beginning :)
